Holiday Sprites New Release Showcase

Welcome to our giant new release showcase!  Mitzi here.  This is our last showcase of the year, but it's so big I'm having a hard time deciding where to start!  For today's showcase, I asked the help of many AW designers - not only the fabulous Showcase DT, but also the wonderful designers from the AW Challenge Blog.  So grab a cup of coffee or your favorite drink and enjoy!

First up, we have the cuddly little Hot Cocoa Sprite!  He's wearing a teddy bear suit and a matching boots, holding a cup of hot chocolate that is loaded with marshmallows and two sticks of - whatever you want them to be - pirouette-style cookies or cinnamon sticks.  You can color them to be whatever you like.  (You can also color the outfit so he is wearing a panda suit, too.) Check out the adorable samples the AW designers have created for you.

The Hot Cocoa Sprite is available in JPG or PNG at the links below.  All of today's new releases are 1500 x 2100 pixels (5 x 7 inches or 12.7 x 17.8 cm at 300 dpi) unless otherwise stated.  Size down to suit your projects or print at full page for a coloring fun with your children and grandchildren during the holiday get-togethers.  There's no visible loss of line quality like pixelization at that size (unless you decide to go poster size or something HUGE).

Next up, we have the very pretty and very detailed Snowflake Sprite!  They say that no two are exactly alike, and I'm sure you'll be able to color her more than one way.  Light blue, aurora borealis, pink, ... but hehe, maybe not yellow, eh?  *eww*

The Snowflake Sprite is a little shorter than her sisters and brothers, coming in at 1500 x 1950 pixels (5 x 6.5 inches or 12.7 x 16.5 cm at 300 dpi).  She looks loaded with details, but you'll find coloring her is a lot easier than she looks at a first glance.  Transparent washes can cover a lot with a few strokes, and touches of color go a long way on this baby.  Making it easy.

Up next, we have the third of our latest Sprites.  Meet sweet Sugar Plum Sprite!  She's inspired by the Sugar Plum Fairy from everyone's favorite holiday ballet, The Nutcracker.  This dainty little lady has her hair up in a bun, wearing a pretty flower petal tutu, and of course, on her toes in pointe shoes.  I couldn't deny her any of that!

The Sugar Plum Sprite is standard AW Sprite size (1500 x 2100 pixels) and available in JPG and PNG at both shop locations.  I think she is a good image to use on a little girl's birthday card, too, and not just for Christmas.

Is your index finger tired from scrolling yet?  Hehe.  Cuz we're not done yet!  I come bearing good news, my friends.  I am unleashing 6 more Holiday Sprites today.  Yes! You heard me right.  They are the ones originally only available in my Christmas Sprites Coloring Book.   For those of you who want to go take a look at the original showcase we had with these Sprites, you can go HERE.  It's like a "Throwback Thursday at AW".

I'm just going to tuck this little extra info right here at the end.  Partially because I'm amazed that you're still reading after all that scrolling, and I want to let you in on a little secret!  I'll be working on a bunch of new images for a new coloring book due spring of 2018.  If all goes well, there's even a possibility of an additional title from me.  Keeping my fingers crossed that I will have productive month or two ahead.

New Release Showcase November

Welcome to our new release showcase!   The AW Showcase designers and I are happy you can join us today.

First up, we have 'Orchidia II'.  (In case you're wondering which image was titled the "first" Orchidia, it's better known as "Orchids in the Rain". )  This image features a lovely woman surrounded by a cascading mass of luscious orchid blooms.  Lots of possibilities in terms of color palettes as well as occasions.

The 'Orchidia II" digi is a full-size digi in JPG that comes at 2400 x 3000 pixels (8x10 inches/ 20.3 x 25.4 cm at 300 dpi).   As you can see in our designers' gorgeous projects above, this image can be sized down for use on your card projects or printed at full size as a coloring page or for use in your art journal, scrap book, art canvas, etc.  The orchids naturally come in many lovely colors and combos, plus they "create" blue orchids with the help of ink.  And no matter what color they are, they have the air of opulence and elegance about them.

Next up is 'Queen Moth'.  She's drawn in the same loose style as some the recent releases from the last few months.  I actually really enjoy making illustrations like this, and I'm very happy that many of you enjoy coloring them as well.   I'm making this image available in two versions.  The original 'Queen Moth', which has a floral "throne" behind her and the figure-only version, which is consistent in style with other digis like 'Lady Butterfly' and 'Lady Butterfly 2'.   Check out the gorgeous inspirations our designers have created for you!

The 'Queen Moth' digi comes in at 2400 x 3000 pixels (8 x 10 inches or 20.3 x 25.4 cm at 300 dpi) in JPG.  Both versions have the same dimension.  Elegant at smaller size on a card and spectacular as a framed colored image at full size.

I also have two more recent releases that have been brought to the store without a showcase, but perfect for dog and cat lovers this holiday season.  Take a look!

Till next time, happy coloring~!!
