Meet the Design Team

I'm delighted to introduce my Showcase Design Team!!  Here are the talented ladies who bring their creativity to create fantastic inspirations with AW's new releases.  I am so grateful for the generous help of these wonderful designers. -- Mitzi

Julie Reed
"Hi everyone!  My name is Julie, and I am super excited to be part of the new Showcase Designers team here at Aurora Wings.

I live in Surrey with my Hubby of 6 years and our adorable 4 year old son and work full time as an accountant, but love to craft in the little spare time I have, this usually means neglecting the housework!

I have been card-making for about 10 years now.  I always loved to colour as a child but only started my colouring and blogging journey in 2013.  I didn’t even know what a blog was until then, but I am loving the inspiration I get from visiting other crafty blogs.

I am currently trying to improve my techniques by taking the Kit and Clowder classes with the lovely Alyce, and have also invested in a Cameo, which has opened up a  whole new world of Crafting.  I am particularly loving playing with Vinyl and different card shapes."

Silvia Sencaka

"Hello, my name is Silvia Sencaka.  I live in Indonesia with my husband and one cute daughter.

I have been into card and colouring since March 2014. In May 2014, I found Aurora Wings stamp, and have been lost into Mitzi's fantasy world since then.

It is an honour to become AW Showcase Blog designer and work among talented ladies. And... I love to play with Mitzi's new digi's before they are released to the public! It is fun to tease and make curious all AW fans lol.

xoxo, Silvia"

Debra Shaw
"Hi!  My name is Debra Shaw, and I live in a village on the East coast of England near the seaside town of Skegness.

I live and work with my best friend and husband Dave.  We run our own re-upholstery company.  I have two grown up sons with gorgeous partners and one adorable granddaughter.  I'm also Mummy to my two Border terriers Mickey and Fern.

I have crafted all my life.  My Granny taught me to knit when I was six, and I have not stopped crafting since - needlework, beading, parchment, you name it . But paper craft is my favourite, and it's the longest I have stuck to anything - about ten years - and since I bought my first Copics I have been addicted to colouring and buying Copics.   Then I discovered digital stamps, and I never know when to stop.  I'm trying to file them away on a spare hard drive in case anything happens to my laptop.

I have contributed on several Challenge sites and also stamp company's over the years, but I am so excited to be working on Mitzi's Showcase.  How perfect getting to play with her wonderful new images and also work with the other ladies on the team who are so talented!"

Jan Thompson
"I'm  Jan & I live in the UK with my lovely hubby & our two cats. I have two grown up sons and 5 wonderful  grandchildren. We have 4 girls and a boy. Baby girl number 5 is due in October.

When Mitzi gave me the honor of asking me to be on her Showcase design team, I could not believe it.  I love her amazing images & I have seen what the other talented DT members can achieve.  I am so lucky to be part of the team.

I love crafting, and like most crafters I have so many crafting goodies, the house is bursting at the seams.  I have a few health issues like so many crafters and find that crafting helps me to relax.

I enjoy sharing my creations on my blog and on Facebook."

Hath Thi
"Hi everyone! I am so pleased to be joining the fabulous Showcase Design Team!! I love Mitzi’s images particularly anything elf, fairy, angel related.

I’ve been making cards for a few years and love the opportunity to get creative – it’s so far removed from my day job that it’s great to get my craft supplies out and play whenever I get the chance. Promarkers have been my favourite medium for a while, although “water colouring” with distress ink is a very close second – I think I could happily loose days just colouring.
Outside craft, I love travelling and have been lucky enough to see a lot of the world – although somehow the list of places I still want to see never seems to shrink."

Lisbeth Bengtsson
"Hi!  I'm Lisbeth, and I'm so excited to be a member of the Showcase Design Team at Aurora Wings.  I live with my two dogs in a small town with very beautiful nature in Sweden.  I have two grown children and two grandchildren.  I'm retired so my days are filled with dog walks and coloring.

I have crafted most of my life, but started with card-making for about ten years.  Four years ago, I discovered Copic.  I had never colored before, but felt this is what I wanted to do, so I took some classes online to get started.  Soon after that, I found Mitzi's amazing images and I just love to color them.  Now I'm also trying to learn to color with Prismacolor colored pencils and watercolors.

For a long time, it has been number one on my bucket list to belong to any of the Aurora Wings teams, and here I am now. :) "

Aletha J. Williams
"Hello, everyone!  I'm Aletha, and I live in Tulsa, OK, better known as Tornado Alley.  I am married to a wonderful man who is my rock and a soul mate.  We have two grown children, three grandsons, and a great grandson.   No, I am not old enough for the "great" part!

I'm so honored to be a part of Mitzi's Aurora Wings' Showcase DT again.  Mitzi's images do bring out the best in all color artists and designers.

I am an artist and designer all around.  Many years ago, I was a graphic / print production artist, so I have been involved in some form of "art" most of my adult life.  In the mid-2000s, I was enjoying some success creating and selling cards, mixed-media art pieces, and many other handmade crafty products.  I am an instructor teaching coloring and mixed-media pieces with digital images and rubber stamps.  I am now disabled, and the positive side to that is I now enjoy my creativity every day.

Again, I am so honored and excited to be a part of Aurora Wings and getting to work alongside some very talented artists."
