New Release Double Showcase

Welcome to our second New Release Showcase of February!  So glad you can stop by.  Today, we have two lovely images in the artsy, sketchy style that some of you love so much.  I also enjoy making ink illustrations in this style, so you can expect a lot more in the future.

First up, we have 'Vines and Berries'.  I know it sounds very autumnal, and it is the third in my 'Seasons' series of square images.  The previously released 'Wings and Petals' and 'Fins and Pearls' are spring and summer, respectively.  After today's 'Vines and Berries', there will be one more left to go in the series for winter.  Check out the gorgeous inspirations our designers have created for today's showcase below!

'Vines and Berries' is available as a JPG digital stamp, coming in at 2400 x 2400 pixels (That's 8 x 8 inches or 20.3 x 20.3 cm at 300 dpi.).  Loaded with lots of details, this image is great for a card project when sized down a bit, and fantastic as a mixed art canvas project.  Of course, it's fun as a coloring page - It might even be fun to do this image in four different color palettes for four seasons.

Next up, I have another one of those glamarous fairy images for you.  Those of you who enjoyed my Lady Butterfly series might enjoy the new 'Peacock Queen'.  In nature, it's the males that have to work hard to impress the ladies by showing off their plumage, but I love the look of peacock feathers incorporated into ladies' gowns, so here she is!  Check out the awesome inspirations our designers have created for you!

'Peacock Queen' is available as a JPG digital stamp, and comes in at 2400 x 3000 pixels (8 x 10 inches or 20.3 x 25.4 cm at 300 dpi) full size, so you can color in all the details.  She's also lovely sized down for a greeting card project, of course.  With lots of peacock feather designer papers and die cuts out there, you can create something truly magnificent with this image to bring out the inner diva!

And here's one extra digi.  I know, at the top of this post, I said 'New Release Double Showcase', but  I have more than two digis to show you today that are new.  Let's just say, I got side tracked and fell behind schedule, watching way more TV than usual because of the winter Olympics coverage.

Despite my tardiness, two of the Showcase designers were able to help me out with samples for you.  Kudos to Jan and Silvia!

And here's another new digi that debuted without the showcase last weekend, 'Ice Flower'.  I was inspired while watching figure skating coverage on TV, and I wanted to bring this image out to you as soon as it was ready.   In case you didn't see it at our FB group, here she is.

'Ice Flower' is available in JPG and PNG, and it's a full size digi/ coloring page for maximum creative flexibility.  Coming in at 2400 x 3000 pixels (8 x 10 inches or 20.3 x 25.4 cm at 300 dpi).

Check out the gorgeous inspiration from Aurora Wings Challenge Blog's Donna from this past Monday's new challenge post!  Isn't it inspirational?

And here's another gorgeous sample made by Debbie, also of the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog.  In a gorgeous color palette!

If you haven't seen our latest challenge, we just kicked off a bingo challenge over at the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog earlier this week.  We are now a month-long challenge, so you'll have lots more time to create and join than before.  Our bingo board is loaded with options - not just colors or embellies, but both!   And you can mix colors and embellies for the 3 squares (down, across, or diagonal).  Of course, if you're extra enthusiastic, may we suggest that you go for a blackout?

Our Aurora DT had lots of fun creating inspirations for you, so stop by and check them out!  You'll also get to meet the newest members of our Design Team in that post.  And in early March, we'll have our Stella DT bring you even more inspirations for you.  So keep an eye out and don't miss out on this fun challenge!

OK, now it's time for the goodies.  As you know, I can't have a new release showcase without having a discount code for digis, so here they are.  And I have an extra special going on this weekend - a gift-with-purchase offer of Shamrock Sprite!  This brand new baby joins the ever-growing Sprites Collection just in time for St. Patrick's Day.  Any digi purchase of only $5 USD will qualify you to have this digi sent to you via email.  No action needed.   I have this in JPG and PNG, so I'll send one based on what format of digis are in your order.  But if you have a preference, mention it in a 'note to seller' during check out.  And if you somehow forget to do that, shoot me an email, and I'll take care of it as soon as I can.  The gift-with-purchase is not an automated process, so please allow up to 24 hours after your order for an email from me.  Thanks!

Here's the important info.  The $5 USD minimum to qualify to receive the Shamrock Sprite digi is the FINAL TRANSACTION TOTAL AFTER ANY COUPON CODE HAS BEEN APPLIED.  You're safe if you're using the FEB25 code on your purchase, but you may not qualify if you're using NRFEB20 code to save 20% on $4 USD minimum (It depends on your exact number...  To be exact, your 'before coupon total' needs to be $6.25 USD or higher if you want to get this baby.  I did the math, and it works out to be exactly $5 after 20% discount.).

One last bonus sample.  From Silvia, who was lightning quick with this one, too.   Little Shamrock Sprite in greyscale with spot color.  Doesn't she look awesome?

I hope you enjoyed today's new release showcase.  Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

First New Release Showcase of 2018!

Hi, and welcome to our first new release showcase of 2018!  So glad you can be here with us today!  We have three adorable new digis to show you, but first, let me introduce you to the newest member of the Showcase Design Team.  It's my pleasure to welcome Lisbeth Bengtsson to the AW family of designers.

Please check out her profile on the Meet the Design Team page to get to know her.  (Please know that we will also be announcing the new designers joining our teams in the next few posts over at the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog.)

Without further ado, let's get started, shall we?  First up, we have the Happy Pierrot Sprite.  Do you remember the first Pierrot Sprite from a while back?  He was so sad... cute and precious and all, but so sad, holding a broken rose stem that was losing petals.  This time, I've given him a bouquet of roses and balloons so he can bring them to you, all happy and proud!  Hope you like him.  Both the roses and balloons will give you a lot of color options.  Plus, this image can be used for anything from Valentine's Day to birthdays and anniversaries.  Check out the beautiful inspirations our designers have created below.

The Happy Pierrot Sprite digital stamp comes in at 1500 x 2100 pixels (5 x 7 inches or 12.7 x 17.8 cm at 300 dpi).  You can print it at full page size on your home printer and still not see any loss of quality if you want to color this image along with young children.

Next up, we have a precious little harbinger of spring, Snowdrops Sprite!  Snowdrops often bloom from under a blanket of snow with the fresh color combination of green and white.  Their pristine beauty is a welcome sight after a long cold winter.   As these bulbs look great when growing in a cluster, I've given this Sprite a lot of blooms.  Check out the beautiful samples our designers have created for you!

The Snowdrops Sprite digital stamp comes in at 1500 x 1800 pixels (5 x 6 inches or 12.7 x 15.2 cm at 300 dpi).  A little shorter than the usual Sprite digis.  This is a lovely image that you can use on cards of many occasions from 'just because' to weddings.  And because it's a fantasy image, you're not limited to the green and white color palette, either.  As you can see in Silvia's sample above, this baby looks great in other colors as well!  Have fun with your imagination.

Snowdrops Sprite

Now, I get to introduce you to the third digi of this showcase.  This Sprite is inspired by one of my favorite flowers of all time.  Meet Bachelor's Buttons Sprite!  I've grown these flowers - also known as Cornflowers - for literally decades from a single packet of seeds.  Although they are annuals, they readily self-seed season after season around my house, and if you love honey bees and other native pollinators in your area, you'll be pleased to know that these flowers are enjoyed by them all, and you'll be playing a wonderful part in conserving nature.  And the best part?  They're so easy to grow and most definitely rewarding.  If you deadhead (pinching off the blooms that are past their prime and drying up), you can prolong their blooming period by several weeks.

They are most well-known for their 'cornflower blue' color, but they do come in many other colors - pale pink, bright pink, lavender, white, deep purple, maroon (Some are so dark they look almost black!).  So imagine the color possibilities with this Sprite!  Lots and lots of fun.

The Bachelor's Buttons Sprite digital stamp comes in at 1500 x 2100 pixels (5 x 7 inches or 12.7 x 17.8 cm at 300 dpi).  As you can see in our designers' samples, this is an adorable image great for lots of occasions like Mother's Day, birthday, Valentine's Day, and even for a little girl's dance recital!  My daughter used to call these flowers 'tutu flowers' when she was little, and I thought it was such an apt name!  Children's imagination is so wonderful, don't you agree?

I hope you enjoyed our first new release showcase of 2018.  And of course, what's a showcase without a discount code, right?  Well, here you go!  Take advantage of the code this weekend and enjoy these new releases.  Be sure to hop on over to our FB group and share your coloring and projects (Always feel free to post work-in-progress pics as I LOVE seeing them!), then blog it and join our Anything Goes challenge over at Aurora Wings Challenge Blog!   Happy coloring & crafting!!
