Welcome to our New Release Showcase of August! It feels great to be wrapping up the Zprites Collection sooner than originally planned, despite a slower start at the beginning. So let's start the showcase of the Final Four!
First up is the handsome
Sagittarius Sprite, the archer. Those born between November 22 and December 21 fall under this sign. Born blessed with lots of energy and brain power, they love freedom, exploration, and adventure. And they're like an arrow, going straight to the goal with focus and drive. So much so, they can be careless (accident prone) and maybe a little bit tactless at times. Sounds very human to me, despite the interesting combination of half archer half horse that represents the sign.

Next up, we have the adorable Capricorn Sprite! I thought this baby was going to give me a challenge when I first sat down with the idea to do a rough sketch. I shouldn't have worried because all came very quickly. I think this one turned out rather cute. A half goat half fish - a sea goat - is the creature symbol of this sign. This sign covers people born between December 22 and January 19. Ambitious and confident, those born under this sign go about achieving their goals with wisdom, patience, discipline, and practicality.

Next, we have the elegant
Aquarius Sprite, pouring water from a large vase she carries over a shoulder. She seems to be basking in the peace and serenity of the moment. The water bearer is the symbol for the sign of Aquarius, which covers from January 20 to February 18. Intelligent and independent, Aquarius people make great friends with their wide interests and inventive nature. Because they love independence and hate being bored with monotony, they can be stubborn and/or extreme and sometimes unpredictable - a lot like water.

Last, but not least, we have Pisces Sprites! I received a little help from Donna with the initial concept/approach on this sign because I got a little stumped once I tried to get going. So it was probably good that I actually started with this sign first for this final batch of four. I ran into problem early, so I had plenty of time to mouth my concern AND get much needed help in time as well! Don't you just love it when things work out nicely like that? Now, this sign covers people who were born between February 19 and March 20. The gentle fish people are kind, sensitive, compassionate, and intuitive - a lot of psychics are born under this sign. They make the sweetest friends who are always ready to help with a generous heart.

I have a special announcement that I'm very excited about! I have 2 new PDF bundles in the shops - Holiday Sprites volume 1 and volume 2. Volume 1 is a re-compiled "Artist's Edition" of the 2015 printed edition half-size coloring book called "Christmas Sprites".
I have created a brand new cover for this PDF edition, and the
order of appearance for the 12 Sprites has been changed. Plus a
companion volume (a sequel to the aforementioned book), Holiday Sprites volume 2, which includes the holiday season Sprites from the past few years AND 2 brand new images - Jingle Bells Sprite and Santa's Little Helper Sprite.
The PDF files' default size is the original publication size of half size
(5.5 x 8.5 inches), but they can be printed at 'fit to page' scale setting on
your printer dialogue box and print to fit the standard 8.5 x 11 inches
paper without any loss of quality. This makes it easier for very
young children or people with eye issues to color.
