I always enjoy seeing my digital stamps colored by papercrafters and colorists out there with thier own spin on the image. Each different piece tells a different story with unique flare of the individual who colors the image. I love having this showcase blog as a place to feature some outstanding creations by fans and designers alike.
Today's showcase presents a stunning creation by KalySto, using the "Tempest of Ice" digi. This digi is available in two different versions - one with frozen waterfall background, and one with just the warrior and the pack of wolves. KalySto used the no-background version of the digi that gave her the flexibility to add a night sky with a crescent moon.
The card is so opulent with the red, blue, and gold scheme. I think the warrior looks stunning in the crimson cloak. The whole project has a beautiful "storybook" feel, too. Just breathtaking in the richness of it all.
You can see more photos and read all about this beautiful creation on KalySto's blog here.
The "Tempest of Ice" digis are available at my Etsy shop.
The complete version with frozen waterfall background here.
The warrior-and-wolves-only version here.
Both versions of digis are available as 2100 x 1500 pixels (300 dpi) JPG 7" x 5"/17.8 x 12.7cm. "Tempest of Ice" is one of my personal favorites. The original tradigital (traditional and digital mixed media) fantasy art is a bit bloody and intense as you can see in the partially colored preview image.
The image is perfect for boys and men who enjoy the classic imagery of warriors, sword fight, and wolves for various occasions. Masculine images are generally hard to come by in digital stamps. I would like to add more to the line in the future.
